December 1st, 2017 (Fri): The Third Annual BYOB Christmas Light Trolley Tour. Visit some of Detroit’s most extravagant light attractions. -Troy, MI

December 2nd, 2017 (Sat):

  • The Repeal Ball.  On December 5th, 1933, thirteen long years of American prohibition came to an end. Liquor was once again legal and Detroiters celebrated in style. The Membership of the Detroit Yacht Club danced into the early morning hours, along the shore of the river which had seen so much of prohibitions crime. We are ready to do it again.  Hosted by Detroit History Tours and The Detroit History Club   –Detroit, MI
  • Holiday Shopping Bazaar at Dance Innovations. Vendors, crafters, bake sale and raffles. Enjoy some delicious baked treats to help this years competition team.  -Livonia, MI
  • Bassgasms at The Works.  Presented by  DDT Pro with performances by LAXX, Blvnt Force, BassPanthers, MegaHurtz, and more.  -Detroit, MI
  • The 45th annual Noel Night.  With over 100 participating venues, including the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the Michigan Science Center.  Enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday shopping, family craft activities and performances by more than 200 area music, theatre, and dance groups and other special performances.  -Detroit, MI
  • The 4th Annual Santa Hat Hustle 2017.  Downtown Royal Oak will be converted to a winter wonderland with Santa and all his friends, Reindeer, Snowmen, Christmas Trees & More! -Royal Oak, MI

December 9th, 2017 (Sat): Santa Pub Crawl 2017.  The Annual Santa Pub Crawl in Downtown Royal Oak with over 2,000 holiday enthusiasts.   – Royal Oak, MI

December 12th, 2017 (Sat):  It’s the 8th annual Toys 4 Tots.  Truth Detroit hosts this annual event at Uptown Grille.  The Marines will be on hand and Special Appearance by the big man himself Santa Clause!!  -Commerce Township, MI

December 15th-17th, 2017:  Wild Lights at the Detroit Zoo. For 24 nights, more than five million LED lights will illuminate trees, buildings and more than 230 animal sculptures throughout the front half of the Zoo. Experience the magic of the Detroit Zoo in winter as you take in the lights and sights and enjoy holiday entertainment and special activities for guests of all ages. -Royal Oak, MI

December 16th, 2017 (Sat):  Santa’s Magic Forest at Taylor’s Heritage Park.  Santa’s Magic Forest is the largest holiday community display of its kind featuring a host of heart-warming winter village scenes made livelier by moving animatronic figures.  This benefit to help almost eight thousand households in the downriver area and communities beyond who depend upon you and Fish & Loaves Community Pantry for food assistance.  -Taylor, MI

December 20th, 2017 (Wed):  Italmoda Holiday Event. A night of friends, design, & cheer! Art, sounds, bites and beer. -Royal Oak, MI

December 21st, 2017 (Thu):  The Annex, DJ Godfather, & Mike Scroggs present:  The Annual Xmas Roller Skating Bash at Bonaventure Roller Skating Center.  Get your tickets in advance here!   -Farmington Hills, MI

December 23rd, 2017 (Sat):

December 28th, 2017 (Thu):  Pretty Lights Live visits Detroit, MI on December 28-29 for two nights at The Fillmore. Special guests Too Many Zooz supports on 12-28 and SoDown supports on 12-29.

December 29th, 2017 (Fri):  Merry & Bright after hours at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House. There will be candlelight strolling house tours, live music, craft brews, a toasty fire and marshmallows for roasting!  See the house all dressed up for the holidays, and take in live entertainment under a heated tent. Enjoy adult beverages like craft beer and a glass of wine as you gather ’round a toasty fire to roast a marshmallow with friends. Take a moment to soak in the holiday cheer with the estate aglow and enjoy good company – whether a romantic night out for two or a gathering of friends and family. -Grosse Pointe Shores, MI

December 29th & 30th, 2017:  Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village at Henry Ford.  Mingle with merrymakers amid the smells of roasting chestnuts and warm bonfires: the sounds of carolers, fiddlers and sleigh bells: and other yuletide activity.  Santa and Live Reindeer, Ice-Skating, Fireworks Finale and Sing-Along, Decorated Homes and Shops, along with Holiday Cooking Demonstrations.  – Dearborn, MI

December 31st, 2017 (Sun):

  • Motor City NYE 2018 – The Drop at Beacon Park.  Activities begin at 4:00pm with live entertainment on the main stage, fire pits, horse drawn carriage rides, kids zone and at midnight witness a visual spectacle unrivaled in all of the Midwest when we lower The “D” to countdown to 2018.  -Detroit, MI
  • NYE Motor City Gala 2018 at the Atheneum Suite Hotel.  This Annual Mega New Year’s Eve Party offers premium packages to help you celebrate in style with 2 Ballrooms filled with DJs and live entertainment for dancing and a spectacular countdown at Midnight. -Detroit, MI
  • Rocky’s New Years Eve Celebration. Balloon drop with over $1000 in cash + prizes. Free Buffet (8pm-10pm), free champagne toast at midnight. -Riverview, MI
