Motor City Comic Con

MotorCity Comic ConMotor City Comic Con (MCCC) had record breaking attendance this past weekend, May 17th, 18th, & 19th, 2013.  With that record breaking attendance came snarled traffic and very long waits to get in the building.  Even with the waits, hot temperatures, and large crowds the volunteers were cheerful and our favorite celebrities were there.

Stan Lee and Norman Reedus were the highlights of the celebrities in attendance.  Fans in line for Reedus waited in excess of 3 hours.  One Dad planned ahead and brought a camping chair and desk with his lap top to keep himself and his 3 kids entertained.

We’re lucky in the Detroit area to have two large comic cons.  Motor City Comic Con is in the spring or early summer and Detroit Fanfare Comic Con is always in October.

You can find the photos from the comic con on our Facebook page under photos at The Best of Detroit on Facebook.
