June 1st, 2017 (Thu):  The Nursery School Olympics at Elizabeth Park.  Marshmallow Shot Put, Big Wheel Grand Prix (kids must bring their own Big Wheel or bike), Paper Plate Discus, Low Low hurdles, Basketball, Toddler Trot & the Diaper Derby.  This event is geared toward children ages 5 and younger.  No pre-registration is required. – Trenton, MI

June 2-4, 2017:  Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.  Live music, driver autograph sessions, extreme sports demonstrations, free Monster Truck rides, appearance by Detroit Sports stars and more.  The event will feature the cars of the Verizon IndyCar Series, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the high-flying trucks of the SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Trucks presented by Traxxas and the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli.   – Detroit, MI

Jun 3, 2017 (Sat):  The 9th Annual Paddlepalooza canoe/kayak race and river event is co-sponsored by the City of Auburn Hills and the City of Rochester Hills.  Beginning at Riverside Park in downtown Auburn Hills.  A race for seasoned paddlers (canoe and kayak) or an untimed, adventure paddle for individuals to paddle the river… both options include fun on the water, great scenery, wildlife and lots of fresh air!  Pre-registration is advised, just visit www.auburnhills.org/departments/parksandrecreation.

June 9th, 2017 (Fri):  Burger Bash Detroit.  Sample Metro Detroit’s BEST Burgers & Brews All Under One Roof! You won’t be asking “Where’s the beef!?” at this event with unlimited samples of burgers, brews, fries & sweets!  -Royal Oak, MI  TBOD

Jun 10, 2017 (Sat):

St. Clair Beer & Wine Fest 2017.  Sip 100+ beer and wines and craft cocktails from over 40 breweries, wineries & distilleries from across the state and around the globe.  -St. Clair, MI

The 14th Annual River Day Fishing Derby offers youths 16 & under a chance to fish and participate in this free annual contest on the banks of the Clinton River.  Raffle prizes plus River Day t-shirts for all the kids. –Auburn Hills, MI

The 22nd Annual Wayne County Parks Fishing Derby.  Fisherman of all shapes and sizes reeling in more than 800 rainbow trout at Waterford Bend Park.   As part of the DNR Free Fishing weekend, there is no need for a fishing license for this event. Please bring your own equipment to enjoy a morning of fishing fun!  There will also be casting contests and special giveaways for each child. The Vietnam Veterans of America Plymouth/Canton Chapter 528 will be on hand to help the kids weigh and measure the fish.  FREE.  – Northville, MI

June 15th, 2017 (Thu):  CBS 62 is holding an Open Casting Call for Survivor from 3-7pm at Gardner-White Furniture.  -Auburn Hills.

June 15th-17th:  The 26th Anniversary of the Canton Liberty Fest!  Carnival Rides, Midway Games, Two Stages of Live Entertainment, Movie Under the Stars on Friday, Taste of Canton & Fireworks.  -Canton, MI

Detroit Comix Party is the area’s largest expo of independent comix/zine/art book publishing.  -Detroit, MI

Dabble in the Farms.  A craft tasting event on the Hill.
